Fans Toys FT-10 PHOENIX, their interpretation of generation one's Skyfire, is the version that I have been waiting for 33 years to become available ever since I saw his debut on TV. The is bot is big! It has outstanding articulation and very balanced despite having a backpack. The transformation is intuitive, but care is needed because of a couple of tabs. I recommend watching The Chosen Prime's video on the transformation to avoid breaking any of the tabs, especially on the back that connects behind Phoenix's head. Once you know the trick to getting it to attach, you won't have problems that could result in a broken tab. Both alt and bot modes are solid with out any floppy parts. This bot has a presence on the shelf with details befitting anything Takara has put out recently for their Masterpiece line. This huge bot is necessary for any MP collection!

What can I say about FT10 Phoenix except breathtaking,this figure embodies the truest sense of the character Skyfire from G1.This figure may look simple to transform but he is anything but simple,sure its not overly complicated but he has enough steps to be really satisfying. In closing I plan to get a second FT10 when I save up a little more money cause I love this design so much.FansToys always delivers the best figures hands down,I am a customer for life.
