More comic accuracy from MMC
The Good: Both Ebrius and Gravus look like they stepped right out of the comics, which is MMC's standard in their Reformatted line. The sculpts are dynamic and full of character and their construction feels sturdy. Joints are tight and (for the most part) pieces tab into each other fairly well. I have not been able to swap out Ebrius' face yet, but I love the sculpt on the alternate face.
Most importantly, these figures fill a gap in the official offerings and Ebrius is the first depiction of Guzzle since 1988.
The Bad: Although the sculpts are strong and create a strong silhouette, the transformation/alt mode of each figure is pretty weak. Other than a few panels and twists, the conversion on these bots is pretty much limited to them falling flat on their faces. They look like they should, but it's fairly unsatisfying. The included guns do not fit in the hands very well, also.
Overall: These figures fill a niche and are another solid offering from MMC. Given the very limited engineering needed to make these figures work, it would be nice if they were a little less expensive MSRP and people who are on the fence should consider waiting for a sale.
