Another Master Made homerun
Maybe I'm in love with Master Made, maybe it's their quality products, maybe it's the cute tiny versions of the massive characters they represent, but however you slice it, this is quality.
Top to bottom here we go:
Box is great. Some nice artwork, window for viewing, packaged very well with several layers of protections.
Weight - just like Metroplex before, this has enough die cast in it to really have some weight.
Design - love the g1 homage. It strikes enough chords to remind you exactly of the cartoon, but far enough away to know they put hours into the smallest things.
Poseability - (is that a word? meh) but it's fantastic. The die cast holds this guy in just the right spots, crouched, roaring, one leg up, you name it. Plenty of articulation, sturdy ratchets where they matter, no tipping or slipping apart here.
Accessories - He's got enough firepower to take out all autobots and still have ammo left. They go together easy, they make sense to the character, and he is a walking stomping terror.
Transformation - my only gripe about this character. I don't personally feel like the instructions are all that great and the die cast can make some parts a bit tricky, but he looks good once he's in each mode. Absolutely not a reason to deny yourself the purchase, but be forewarned.
All in all - I am on board with Master Made. I have their first 2 products in this line, I've preordered Appolo (Omega Supreme) and I can't wait to see what else they do. C'mon Unicron/Primus variants!
