Takara Masterpiece MP-32 BEAST CONVOY / OPTIMUS PRIMAL

Received this as a birthday gift from my wife,tears almost started. And on top of that the item was mailed so quickly the same day the figure was released very awesome service. But its amazing to see something I grew up watching and becoming a huge fan of Beast Wars. That this was a dream come true to see Takara create this as a masterpiece! There is nothing negative I can say this figure is perfect as it seems Takara made this figure with allot of love and for the fans. This is a must have what are you waiting for buy this now!!! The Beast Wars Masterpiece has began and I cant wait to see who is next!

This figure is what brought me back into the world of toy collecting. I've always had a "collector mindset" and Beast Wars was the Transformers series that I grew up on. I had many of the original toys growing up and I never thought that I would see new/updated toys created, let alone within the famed Masterpiece line. This figure is absolutely amazing. Paint application and poseability are incredible and this i hands down the most screen-accurate version of the toy (in both beast and robot mode) that will ever be created. I couldn't be happier! Well, I take that back. I'll be happier when Takara keeps the branch alive and releases even more Beast Wars figures!

When I started collecting, I swore to myself that I would only collect G1 figures from season 1 and season 2. Then I saw this guy. I actually held off on buying him for a long time. But once I had I realized I was instantly hooked on this line. This figure is about as close to perfection as you can get. There is absolutely nothing I would change about him. His appearance in both modes is absolutely spot on, and I love the fact that you can pose him on all fours to give a realistic gorilla stance. While there is a bit of robot kibble that peeks out, I don't see any means of hiding it and it is not so pronounced that it bothers me. Robot mode is absolutely flawless. Toon accurate and very posable. I wish there was a way to keep the LED's in the eyes on instead of having them time out, but I can see why they went with that approach. Paint is beautiful! The faux fur looks so good it makes me want to touch him to make sure it isn't real. If you are not sure whether or not top get this figure...stop wondering and dig into your pockets. If you are a beast wars fan at all, you will absolutely regret not having him if you miss out.
