Awesome Looks
As is the trend with these figures, Growl looks incredible in both modes, but suffers from some build quality issues. Mine has a torso/dino rear that never quite lines up properly in dino mode. His hips have the possibility of being so floppy he can not stand up straight; I fixed mine with floor polish. The dino head does not close together properly and must be handled with extreme care when separating it into robot leg mode, as the small tab in the jaw of the dinosaur is VERY fragile. I also snapped a securing tab that joins the front of the dino/legs together, but it doesn't seem to affect the operation of the toy. This did not require much force.
The end result is that you have to handle this figure with deliberate care. GCreation made models before this, and their designs need to be handled with the care one would expect to handle a model with I think. However like some of the best models, this figure is stunning in bot mode, and exceptionally pose-able. Dino mode is very G1-Toy looking, with limited articulation.
I recommend this figure, as the combined mode is turning out to be incredible, and as a shelf piece it is really very pretty. But it must be handled carefully, and you have to be prepared to contact the retailer if issues arise. Thankfully, Chosen Prime is awesome about that.
